Old Guard v. The New Guard-Changing the Face of the GOP in 2016

John McCain, Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, and Mitch McConnell are some of the most powerful men in the country. They have mastered staying in power as incumbents, and have sold America out time and time again. They have tried to squash opposition and have relentlessly attacked others who disagree. It is enough to get a Conservative depressed and disillusioned with the system. However, there is a silver lining.

The new guard led by some younger and more principled men and women. Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Michele Bachmann, Tim Scott and many more. These are men and women that are taking the fight to Congress (The Senate and House). They are fearless warriors fighting the “establishment” in hopes of returning our beautiful country to its founding principles.

They are mercilessly attacked not only from the left but from the right as well. Friendly fire is common place for these heroes. They are not without fault, some like Marco Rubio made the mistake of joining the snakes in Washington to try to pass a horrendous Immigration Bill. However, he regressed and came back. Does this mean he is not a conservative? Of course not!

2016 will be a year of battle and bloodshed. You will have the more liberal Republican establishment waging an all out war against the newer, more conservative wave of politicians.

Many have asked me, who do you think will be in the 2016 race? I believe Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie (depending on the scandal), Mike Huckabee (God, I hope not!), Maybe Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, and Bobby Jindal. There may be more, but this is what I have at the moment. It is too early to say, but the probability of the one’s mentioned is very high in my opinion.

Regardless, I am excited to finally see some articulate, strong, and fiscally savvy candidates.

What do you think? Let me know.
